For keen walkers there is no better place to stretch your legs than in Banff National Park, where a number of excellent walking tracks weave their way through stunning mountain vistas. A full day hike is an excellent way to explore the trails around Banff and Lake Louise with a professional, and passionate, local guide who will share insight on the geology and ecology of this pristine area. The exact location varies depending on which day of the week you do the hike, however you can expect to walk for around three to four hours (distance between 8 -13 kilometres), including an overall elevation of around 350 – 700 metres, with beautiful viewpoints along the way and a hearty packed lunch.
A reasonable level of fitness is required.
