Start your time here with a visit to the Da Ku Cultural centre, where you will also find the Kluane National Park and Reserve Visitor Centre. The cultural centre celebrates the culture and traditions of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations people with guided tours, talks, artwork and artefacts. The visitor information centre houses world class exhibits about Kluane, its landscape and the unique flora and fauna which lives within it. The two combined paint an excellent picture of the cultural landscape of this part of the Yukon, and are an absolute must-do whilst here.
If you do wish to venture in to the park you will be rewarded with endless walking trails through awe-inspiring scenery. Maps are available at the visitor centre for routes ranging from short strolls to more challenging hikes – maps and permits are available from the visitor centre.
