The sparkling Yukon River is ideal for canoeing and kayaking, with calm waters and beautiful scenery. On this guided tour you paddle a traditional Canadian canoe or more modern kayak from Whitehorse as far at the confluence of the Takhini River, gently passing forested banks and open stretches where you can look for wildlife and birds – bald eagles are often spotted here. You knowledgeable guide will chat about the landscape as you go and ensure you get the most of your time on the water. The tour takes around four to four hours; a light snack and drink is included.
