The simple accommodation at Mulu Park HQ offers the best location for trekking the trails around the UNESCO heritage area. Set on the edge of the rainforest along the Melinau River the chalets and longhouse rooms are dotted around the park. The well-kept rooms are always extremely clean and feature powerful air-conditioning units, private en-suite bathrooms and, for the garden bungalows you can relax on a private terrace. Longhouse accommodation is a little simpler but is the ideal choice for families with either 1 double and 3 single beds, or 4 single beds.

The Park HQ offers a large covered café serving delicious local and western dishes, a gift shop to pick up essential toiletries, and an excellent discovery centre to learn about the history and biodiversity of Mulu.

Given the remote location WiFi access in the park is very limited. Access can be purchased locally from the park office but please be aware that it may not be available at all times.
