Finca La Azul is a pretty little boutique style property in the Uco Valley in the foothills of the Andes Mountain range in the heart of Mendoza’s wine country. It is an excellent choice if you are a wine lover and really want to explore some of the celebrated boutique wineries of the region but don’t want to spend a fortune on a five star resort. There is no compromise on quality though here with impeccable service, majestic surroundings and superb dining with the owners as your hosts, which always makes a big difference to the atmosphere and feel of a place. Enjoy the floor to ceiling windows and modern chic interiors surrounded by vines.

Owner Shirley and her family really offers warm and friendly personalised attention to their guests. There are only six rooms, all of which have sweeping views across the vineyards towards the Andes. The Finca has its own restaurant as well as an additional restaurant located at the winery, both of which serve great local cuisine paired with regional wines. There is an outdoor pool, alfresco asado area and they can arrange candlelit dinners on request among the vines of you wish. They will happily arrange activities such as winery visits and tastings and cooking lessons.
