Casa Sur Palermo is a great value mid-size hotel that combines the style of a boutique hotel with the facilities of a larger property in a great location. The chic contemporary design is surprisingly cosy and warm in feel: an elegant mix of wood, sleek furniture, neutral toned soft furnishings and a splash of signature design. The hotel has its own smart dining experience at 6to Restaurant, brought to the city by the experienced Waissman brothers, with its cuisine strongly influenced by “brasserie” style dishes, homemade specialties and high quality ingredients for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Rooms here are spacious and light and suites are very grand: a clever wooden library wall divides the room from the sitting area. There is a small spa and fitness centre as well as an outdoor heated swimming pool on the ground floor with wooden loungers. There is a great rooftop terrace and chill-out zone with chic décor and views out over the city, a bar and a barbecue area that is usually set-up during evening in summer (December-March). Take advantage of a very good concierge service here or borrow one of their bicycles free of charge. A nice touch is the complimentary city tour with a local historian each Saturday.
