This is the only hotel in Nha Trang town to enjoy direct access to a private beach, allegedly the result of a planning oversight from the local council many years ago. Great service, a deserved reputation for food and an impressive Six Senses spa make this a great choice for those who want a top class resort, but with the excitement of Nha Trang on your doorstep also. The 74 rooms are housed in 17 villas scattered throughout beautiful tropical gardens. If there can be one criticism it is that it is a small plot considering the number of rooms but, having said that, noise has never been pegged as an issue and the cottages are very roomy. There are 3 rows of villas, starting with ‘Garden View‘ at the back, ‘Sea View‘ in the middle and ‘Beachfront‘ where you would expect. It’s obvious which are preferable – those with with the spectacular views across Nha Trang Bay. In the rooms expect a flat-screen TV, DVD player, gauzy mosquito net, wooden furniture and a bathtub with a window looking onto garden. All have pretty little private terraces.
The Evason Ana Mandara has two swimming pools, tennis courts, a gym, yoga pavilion and a Spa on its own private enclave at one end of the property, offering specialty treatments together with an extensive menu of traditional therapies. There is a selection of dining choices available from the more exclusive Pavilion Restaurant to the casual Beach Bar & Restaurant. Drinks are available from both the Lobby Bar and Pool Bar. The numerous islands surrounding Nha Trang with their transparent waters make for exciting island trips, excellent fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving. The resort has a many water sport activities to choose from on its (semi)-private beach.
The Ana Mandara is a fantastic option for those looking to unwind in seclusion and privacy, but still be within reach of Nha Trang town’s attractions.
