Boschendal is one of the oldest wine estates in South Africa and was founded in 1685. Nowadays you can enjoy freshly made delicacies at the deli, bakery and butchery; or dine finely at the Werf Restaurant as well as sample their wonderful wines. The most recently addition is the conversion of 22 “workers” houses into beautiful self-catering 1 to 5 bedroom guest cottages.You will be able to enjoy access to the entire farm where you can walk through the vineyards and cycle on trails through mountain fynbos, have dinner under the stars, picnics and sundowners in exclusive areas, fly-fish in the dams and swim in the refreshing mountain water. There are swimming pools to laze around and enjoy the views from as well.
