Scarabeo was the very first camp to set up in the Agafay Stone Desert, making it one of the most well established properties here and it really shows. The tents feel more authentic here, but still with the luxury of en suite facilities, wood burning stoves in each tent to make it nice and toasty at night, a restaurant tent serving traditional meals, and a beautiful swimming pool with unadulterated views of the moon-like landscape around you. All of these create an atmospheric place to stay just outside Marrakesh, feeling a million miles away from the hectic souks, but undoubtedly in Morocco – living as desert dwellers have for centuries (with a touch more comfort!)
