With bright and spacious design, Riad Zyo feels much more like a 21st century property than other more traditional riads across Morocco, and it’s one of the reasons we love this Rabat hotel. It’s situated right in the heart of the capital’s medina, so you are within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants, as well as Kasbah of the Oudaias and the beach. The hospitality here is second to none, with friendly and smiling staff, bountiful breakfast, and an evening service for dinner only available to guests. There is a small dipping pool in the central courtyard of the hotel, and a delightful garden on the roof with views over the city. Owners bought the building next door during the Covid pandemic, enabling it to add five more rooms to it’s original seven, and these are all individually designed to add that special touch.
