Jordan in spring (March-May) is not only pleasantly warm but also brings out the beautiful wildflowers, including the striking black iris. This itinerary explores the best of these places which highlight this season. Your first stop to see Jordan in bloom is Amman from where you explore the Ajloun Forest Reserve with its wide variety of wild plants and animals. No tour of Jordan in spring would be complete with out a visit to the Dana Biosphere Reserve, Jordan’s largest nature reserve, covering some 320 square kilometers. Many of Dana’s animals and plants are very rare. You continue onto Petra for the must sea site of any holiday to Jordan and then finish at the Red Sea. Not only the best place for diving, relaxation and other water sports, but also the best place to see the migratory birds at the Aqaba Bird Observatory.
