Whilst the primary draw to Jordan is undoubtedly the wondrous sites such as Petra and Jerash, Jordan is a notable destination for birdwatchers (it being a hub for migrating species) and those with more than a passing interest in the natural world. We would suggest heading to the nature reserves, in particular Dana, where the stunning scenery is combined with quirky accommodation and varied wildlife, or the Azraq and Ajloun reserves in the north, where the wetlands attract migrating birds.
