Start in the laid back town of Sepilok to visit the famous Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and newly opened Sun Bear Conservation Centre, before venturing along the Kinabatangan River to your jungle eco lodge. Deep in the Kinabatangan wildlife viewing is at its finest and you will likely be lucky enough to spot Pygmy Elephants, a variety of Hornbill, wild Orangutan, crocodiles, mangrove snakes, macaques and even Proboscis Monkeys. Heading back to land travel into the jungles of Tabin Wildlife Reserve for your first rainforest experience, followed by our top wildlife experience in Malaysia; the exclusive Danum Valley. After up-close Orangutan encounters, unforgettable jungle trekking, canopy trails and a rounded rainforest education it’s time to hit the beach. A short flight will have you back in Kota Kinabalu where you can enjoy your final days either at the Shangri La Rasa Ria, or for a more exclusive experience venture to Gaya Island for some well deserved rest & relaxation.
