Dazzler Puerto Madryn makes a great base from which to explore the Peninsula Valdes without spending the earth, as remote lodges close to wildlife are few and far between around Valdes and therefore very pricey. There is a decent restaurant here but one of the advantages of this location is that there are some great choices for dining in the evening in Puerto Madryn as well as a couple of good bars, ideal if you prefer not to always eat in your hotel and try local cuisine.
